You’ll need
- Your awake baby and a cute outfit of mommy’s choice!
- a smart phone with camera in good resolution and burst feature (I suppose any smartphone that is no more than 5 years old would provide that)
- A flatten Amazon box/ cardboard box (Free)
- A white thick paper from Michael’s if you don’t have a white paper ( Less than $5 , I don’t remember the actual price now)
- A passport for photo app (Android or IPhone) (Free)
- A flat and safe surface so your baby doesn’t fall if rolling over
- A well-lid area, sunlight or any lighting that doesn’t give you shade of your phone
US passport requires you to put baby on a white background. So I went to Michael’s and bought this.

Then, I put it on top of a flatten Amazon box or any cardboard box, and my baby on top like so.

Make sure you place this in a well-lid area for photo taking so there will be no shadow like this one I did above.
Use BURST mode of your phone, and take as many as possible. Once you think you get a good one. Search for any passport photo app.
Download it,install it, and use the photo you selected.
Depends on what app you used, I use Photo for Passport(on Android) And I would print multiple copies 6 copies on a 4×6 paper.
Get this file saved, exported it to a USB drive.
Take this USB drive to CVS or Walgreens. We paid 35 cents, and we get 6 2×2 passport photos.
